Herbs for Hair: Hibiscus, Shikakai, and Amla

Step by Step Illustration: How to Do Hair Treatment

 1) Wear your oldest rags that don't mind staining

2) Apply the herbal paste thoroughly over your hair. It's best that someone else do it for you, as that is less messy. If you are doing it yourself, then do it over the kitchen sink or a tub, so prevent messy spills.

3) Wrap your hair up in a rough scrunchie bun and cover your shoulders with an old towel. Go about your usual business for about an hour.

4) Bathe. Wet your hair a little, and scrub the treatment in well. Wet and scrub slowly, and run your fingers through the hair when it is completely wet, for the treatment acts as a conditioner. Slowly wet, scrub, and rinse the treatment off thoroughly. Dry your hair as per usual. Hibiscus really makes hair soft and silky.
